Wooden islands situated in various locations in the La Défense district of Paris were created in order to provide unique working spaces outside of office buildings. The islands were constructed and situated in such a way they create startling views and panoramas – using, on one hand, perspectives of the district and on the other, less obvious places as the artificial pool next to Henri Regnault square.

The platforms give employees in the district an opportunity to work comfortably with their laptop while enjoying the exceptional view made possible by the construction of the platform – a seat with a desktop. The platform also has seating options around it.
